biar derita itu pergi

Salams,

semalam saya rasa agak down sikit.. Tapi alhamdulillah dah lega sikit terima kasih di atas kata kata semangat dari kawan kawan dari comment yang lepas...sebenarnya tak ada pun sangat.. sikit sangat la tu pressure yang diberikan..cara my supervisor pun sangatlah berhemah..cuma saya yang pening disebabkan kekadang workflow tak seperti saya rancangkan...Ideanya pun banyak sekejap begini dana sekejap begitu.. tak apalah biasalah lah tu kan.. :)

hari ini saya tersenyum sendiri bila mendapat email dan membaca blog Wuma
Segan pun ada sebenarnya... tapi apa pun inilah suntikan semangat pada diri saya. walau apa pun saya lakukan.. .phd bukanlah segala galanya..PhD hanyalah sebahagian dari perjalanan hidup saya dan keluarga saya.. Ianya tidak menghalang saya melakukan apa apa perkara yang berlaku disekeliling saya..

Asalam u Alaikum

First of all a BIG THANK YOU to all the sisters who joined us for the Cooking competition. Special thanks goes to the three special judges: Dr. Asma, Sister Jamila and Sister Zahra. And of course we can never thank enough all the sisters who brought their charm and mouth watering food with them to the competition. It was obvious that alot of effort was put in to the making of the dishes and we were very happy to have had such a wide variety of different foods, Alhamdulillah. The judges pointed out that the decision to pick only 3 dishes from all the dishes was an extremely hard one as they were all so delicious and well done. Hence everyone is a winner however we had promised to highlight the 3 outstanding dishes so the winners were as follows:

1st place went to Hanani Abd Wahab for her Beef Rendang dish,
2nd place went to Fariza Rusly for her Sweet Chilli Beef dish,
3rd place went to Khadija Bahiss for her Rice, Meat and Veges.

Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who took part. It was a fun day and Dr. Asma gave a beautiful talk, we really appreciate her coming and sharing her knowledge with us that Inshallah we can all benefit from. Watch out for the upcoming newsletter for the photos of the food competition. This event wouldn't have been possible without the efforts and contributions of the following people Emma, Jehan, Ayesha, Khadija and of course without the support of WUMC Committee.

Inshaa' Allah another Fun event will be organized for our sisters within a month. The prospectus event is a "Fashion Show" but we are open to ideas so please feel free to email us back with ideas for the next event.
